Martha Evelyn Nash age 87 of Athens, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Nash was born January 11, 1930 in Limestone County, AL to Joseph Crawford and Ada Jarrett Crawford.
Services will be Sunday, April 2, 2017 3:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Nash was a member of East Side Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Preceded in death by her husband, John H. Nash.
Survived by four daughters, Carol Stark, Kaye Nash, Connie Martin and Sharon Powers and husband, David; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Powers, Stephen Gooch, Brad Powers, Brandon Cooper, Shane Elders and Don Hopkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Levi Powers, Devin Cooper, Braden Morrow, Ethan Elders and Victor Owens.
