marthaFuneral service for Martha Ellen Howse Griffin Bickham, 91, will be Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bickham died on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Woodland Village Health Care. She was born March 11, 1925, in Morgan County to Charles Edward Howse and Ruth Gladys Patterson Howse. Mrs. Bickham attended school in Massey and graduated from Falkville High School in 1942. She was a longtime member of Cedar Plains Christian Church. Throughout her life, Martha found joy in all types of music and always enjoyed dancing. She was an accomplished seamstress, creating many things including her daughter’s wedding gown. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, but the greatest joy in her life was her family. She loved them all deeply and dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: George Griffin, husband: Leslie Bickham, brother: Perry Howse, sister-in-law: Laura Phillips, brothers-in-law: Ronnie Griffin and wayne Griffin, and great granddaughter: Lylah Griffin Zapp.

Survivors include:

One Son:
George Perry Griffin (Denise), Cullman, AL

One Daughter:
Ruth Hollingsworth, (Gordon), Tupelo, MS

Four Grandchildren:
Aimee Hewitt (Josh),
Kristen Capps,
Lauren Grant (Mitchell) and
Hunter Griffin (Hollie)

Great Grandchildren:
Clay, Jack, Elle, Maddie, Jaden, Greyson and Hezra

Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Griffin, Josh Hewitt, Mitchell Grant, William Howse, Will Howse, and Lynn Thrasher .

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Howse, Johnny Denson, Jeff Griffin, and Ouida Rojas.
