Martha Earle Glenn Whitt was born and delivered by her father on January 12, 1934, in Marvel, Arkansas. She passed away October 6, 2019. As a child, she lived in Nebraska and Kansas, then grew up in Corinth, Mississippi, where she graduated from Corinth High School, then attended Florence State. Playing the trumpet as her talent, she was crowned Miss Corinth, Mississippi. Martha worked at Security Bank before meeting her husband of 53 years, Jerry Donald Whitt, Sr. He proceeded her in death, along with her mother Martha Kathleen Harris Glenn and father J. Earle Glenn. She had two brothers Billy Gene Glenn and wife Bonnie Gann Glenn and Joe Harris Glenn.
It was her nature to give so freely of herself to others. She devoted her life to her family and friends. She impacted so many lives and many friends, including her family and grandchildren, who considered her their best friend. Volunteering in three churches over 60 years, First Baptist Corinth, First Baptist Moss Point and First Baptist Pulaski, serving on numerous committees, along with singing in the choir, shows her love for Jesus Christ and serving others. She was also an active member of the Richland Garden and Art Guild.
The visitation will be 1:00pm until 3:00pm Sunday, October 13th, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Pulaski.
The funeral service will follow at First Baptist Church on Sunday, October 13th, 2019, at 3:00pm.

She is survived by her son Jerry Donald Whitt Jr.
Her daughter, Kathleen Merrell Whitt Dunn and husband Evans Johnson Dunn.
Three granddaughters Kathleen Merrell Dunn, Alexandra Glenn Dunn and Anne-Marie Harris Dunn.
Niece, Gloria Gene Glenn Holloway and a nephew Willian Gary (Bill) Glenn and wife Judy Diane Newborn Glenn, along with several other nieces and nephews.
