Martha Bertha Benford was born November 23, 1927 in Germany. She passed away November 19, 2015 at the age of 87. She was a member of Sunny Home Baptist Church.
Visitation is Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville. Service at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Jason Thorn and Eddie Everett officiating. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband Jessie L. Benford; children, Lonza(Anita)Benford and Rhonda(Jimmy)Salter; Siblings, George Neuhaus, Ilse Lex, Honey Milner and Karl Weber; Grandchildren, Kisha(Justin)Crowden, Symone(Dustin)Thrasher, Jessie Salter; Great Grandchildren, Andrew Hendrix, Carly Crowden.
She was preceded in death by parents, Karl Andrea and Katharina Neuhaus Weber; Sister, Gertrude Darty; Great Grandchild, Adam Hendrix.
