Martha Ann Jobe Thompson
The Celebration of Life Service and Committal are set for 3:00 pm Sunday, with the family receiving friends from 1:00 until service time at McPeters Funeral Directors. Bro. Joe Marsh will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the City Cemetery.
Ann died July 5, 2023, at Regional One Health in Memphis, TN, following complications from a car accident on June 23rd. She was born July 21, 1944, in Alcorn Co. MS to the late Thomas and Marie Jobe. She was a 1962 graduate of Kossuth High School. She was a devoted domestic caregiver to her late husband, Neal and family caregiver for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she attended weekly and participated in the choir, WMU, and Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Steve Thompson (Janet); daughter, Janet Clemons (Ben); brother-in-law, Adrian Thompson; grandchildren, Wade Clemons, Kaley Davis (Cody) and Anna Grace Thompson; and great-grandchildren; Braylen Davis and Maddox Davis.
Pallbearers are Andy McDaniel, Chris Waldrep, Eric Parker, Donnie Morgan, Jeremy Holley and Dale Essary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital or the American Diabetes Association
