Funeral service for Marsha Eugenia Mayes Tidwell, 55, of Town Creek, will be today at 4 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with David Nelson and Archie Letson Sr. officiating and Lawerence Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tidwell was born on April 6, 1958, in Lawrence County to the late Dee Eugene Mayes and Jeannette Hardin Mayes. She died on Saturday, May 25, 2013. She was a member of Connerstone Christian Fellowship Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dee Eugene Mayes.
She is survived by her husband, Dillard Tidwell, Town Creek; her son, Justin Tidwell, California; her daugher, Nikki Godwin, Town Creek; her mother, Jeannette Hardin Mayes; one grandson, Micah Johnson; two granddaughers, Lacey Johnson and Jazemine Godwin; one brother, Rick Mayes, all of Town Creek; and three sisters, Janet Letson (Archie Sr.), Hillsboro, Ramona Simoneaux, LA, and Pam Simms (Jimmy), Town Creek.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
