Marsha Lynn Johnson, 57 of Houston, entered into rest on Friday, May 12, 2017 at her residence.
Marsha was born on December 8, 1959 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After obtaining her GED, she went on to receive her Associates Degree in Computer Science. She was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith. Marsha enjoyed crocheting and working in her yard, but most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren and her family unconditionally. She also loved being a redneck woman.
In keeping with Marsha’s wishes, the family will not be having a memorial service but will be privately celebrating her life.
She is survived by her step-mom, Nana Pete Box; son, Earl William Dyer, Jr. and his wife Keesha Marie; daughters, Marsha L’Rae Delaney and her husband Tim, Elizabeth Ann Sexton and her husband Michael, and Joanne Holmes; brothers, Carnice Taber and his wife Malinda, David Taber, Michael Box and his wife Michelle, and Steve Tourigny and his wife Trisha; sisters, Crystal McKee, Ann White and her husband Jody, and Rene Coburn and her husband Bobby. She was “Nana” to 13 grandchildren, Parker, Tatum, Gabriella, Karmin, Adrian, Manuel, Alfonso, T.J., Wesley, Jocelyn, Adalyn, B.B. and Monica.
Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray Box; mother, Vila Mae Lay; brother, Guy Box and brother-in-law, Steve McKee.
