Ms. Marsha Elaine Greene passed away Monday night, December 25, 2017 at her home in Bolivar.
She was born on Sunday, March 2, 1952 at home near Henderson, TN. The daughter of the late Marshall Lafayette Greene and Mary Inez Fawcett Greene, who survives, she was a private duty caregiver for over 30 years. She had also worked at Kilgore and in sewing at several garment manufacturing plants. A member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church, she enjoyed drawing, decorating, dancing, sewing, marcromae and embroidering. A person with a big heart, she will be missed especially by her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Lax (Dennis, Jr.) of Toone and Teresa Green (Bryan Weeks) of Selmer; her mother, Mary Inez Fawcett Greene of Henderson; sister, Carolyn King of Bolivar; brother, James Odell King of Henderson; grandchild, Shelly Green of Stantonville; great-grandchild, Braxton Jace Wilbanks of Stantonville; niece, Shannon Greene of Middleton; and two nephews, Chris and Jason King of Selmer.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elsie Gertrude Beshires Fawcett.
