Marlin Joe Rowan, age 77 of Boaz, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years; Barbara Walden Rowan, his daughters; Kristie Tarvin (Chris), Mistie Wilkerson (Jason) and Carisa Cunningham (Eric), grandchildren; Dustin Lancaster (Haley), Anna Kate Wilkerson, Natalie Tarvin and Brody Cunningham, great-grandchildren; Olivia and Owen Lancaster and one on the way. He is also survived by his brothers; Tim (Bonnie) Rowan and Anthony (Lynn) Rowan and sister; Martha Huff.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Joe and Myra Rowan.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Bennett and Blake Hughes will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jason Wilkerson, Chris Tarvin, Eric Cunningham, Dustin Lancaster, Dennis McWhorter and Brian Parks. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 before the service.
