Marlene Terry, 81, of Courtland passed away Monday, August 7, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 till 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the funeral home with Darrell Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery.
Born on April 19, 1936, Marlene was a faithful member of Harmony United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Greg Terry (Sandra) of Town Creek; daughter, Julia Burden (Michael) of Town Creek; sister, Marie Jeffreys of Moulton; grandsons, Justin Terry (Leslye) of Moulton and Hunter Burden (Joni) of Town Creek; great-grandsons, Nick and Jace Terry of Moulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Don Terry; parents, Benford W. and Gertrude Cross Terry; and sister, Darsene Jeffreys.
Pallbearers will be Justin Terry, Hunter Burden, Nick Terry, Vernon Terry, Jr., Roger Terry, and Buddy Dyar.
