Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Marlene Smith, 80, will be Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Herring Cemetery with Rev. Ellis Wayand, Jr. officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith died on Friday, October 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1936, in Georgia to Roy Wall and Reba Virginia Brown Wall. She was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church and was a postal worker for the Hartselle Post Office prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Ray Smith, her parents and two brothers: Aubrey Wall and James L. Wall.
