Mark Steven Pennington, age 63, of Tuscumbia, died suddenly, Wednesday, July 31, 2013. His family will receive friends today, 6 until 8 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Sunday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ricky Zahnd officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Pennington was a crane operator with Reynolds and Wise Alloys. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Pennington; and brother, Ronnie Pennington.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Rita Pennington; his mother, Dorothy Pennington; and son, Kyle Steven Pennington.
Pallbearers are Kyle Pennington, Kevin Dalrymple, Kesley Dalrymple, Kevin Brown, Billy Willis and Harold Gene McDaniel.
