Mark Randell Lewter, 51, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Lewter lived in the Ardmore community all his life where he was of the Methodist faith. In his free time, Mark enjoyed spending time with his family as well as his dog Gypsy and his cat Callie. He also loved the Alabama Crimson Tide.
He is preceded in death by both sets of his grandparents, Heddy and Daniel Pitts & Ava Lynn and Ronald Haney, one great grandfather, Alvis Hastings, two uncles, Wallace Pitts and Harvey Pitts, as well as one aunt, Ruth McGlocklin.
He is survived by his parents, Gilbert Randell Lewter and Martha Pitts Lewter, one brother, David (Kelly) Pitts, multiple aunts and uncles, Dell Lewter, RD (Nancy) Pitts, Mary Evelyn (Leon) Roberts, and Wayne (Joanne) Pitts, two nieces, Cheyenne (Jackie) Pitts-Harris and Kristina Pitts, as well as two great nephews, Wyatt Pitts and Les Coffman.
There will be a Visitation held for Mr. Lewter at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Chapel Service is scheduled for the following day, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with service time beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Hasting Cemetery.
