Mark Peace Curtis, Jr., age 71 of Huntsville, Alabama passed away October 9, 2018 at home. He was born on January 28, 1947 in Bangor, Maine to Mark and Dorothy (Sessions) Curtis, Sr.
Mark is survived by his son, Jim (Stacie) Curtis; his daughter, Amanda Curtis (Matthew) Taylor; his grandchildren, Chris Prowse, Nikolis Curtis, Cody Curtis, Tyra Nuby, Autumn Taylor, Tristan Taylor, Tanyss Stuart,and Brandy Studdard; His great-grandchildren, Austin Garrett, Joseph Curtis, Samuel Barbour, Fiona Barbour, Elijah Stuart, Jordyn Stuart, Dakota Stuart, and Elizabeth Jones; sister, Anne Hillburn; and 20 year companion, Sylvia Pingry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Dorothy (Sessions) Curtis, Sr.; his brother-in-law and best friend, Billy Hillburn.
The family received friends at Spry Funeral Home on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM.
