Obituary of Mark Noble Roberts Mark Noble Roberts, age 68, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born on September 22, 1956, to Jack Roberts and Judy Weimer. Mark’s passing leaves a profound void, but his spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Mark was a man who never met a stranger. Generous, kind, and full of life, he was the definition of a people person. His humor, outgoing personality, and loving nature made him a beloved figure to family, friends, and acquaintances alike. Mark’s dedication to his family was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His grandkids, Jonah and Cecilia, lovingly called him “Dranpa,” a name that was given to him by Jonah when he was a baby and stuck with him. His devotion to them was evident in the special bond they shared.

A lifelong fan of rock and roll, Mark’s enthusiasm for music was infectious. He also had a deep love for science and nature, always eager to learn more about the world around him. Mark’s intellectual curiosity was matched only by his incredible ability to solve problems—particularly when it came to mechanical devices. As a retired Master Electrician, he was a true jack of all trades, having built his own home in Huntsville from the ground up. In his retirement, Mark embraced life fully, enjoying every opportunity that came his way.

Mark was also a proud and devoted Alabama fan—”ROLL TIDE!” was a chant he held dear, and it became a part of his identity. His enthusiasm for life extended to his passions, and his presence will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mark was predeceased by his parents, Jack Roberts and Judy Weimer, and his brother, Johnny Roberts. He is survived by his loving spouse, Pamela Massey; his daughter, Shelley (John) Howard; his two adored grandkids, Jonah and Cecilia Howard; his stepmother, Connie Roberts; as well as his siblings Graham Roberts, Butch Roberts, Steve Roberts, Tony Roberts, and Christina Roberts.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date, in keeping with Mark’s wishes. The family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, you honor Mark’s memory by performing acts of kindness in his name, as he so often did throughout his life.

Mark’s legacy of love, laughter, and generosity will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
