Funeral service for Mark Allen Nicholson, 54, will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Chaplain from the American Legion officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. No Visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Nicholson passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. He was born January 23, 1967, in Wisconsin, to Dan and Valerie Murphy Nicholson. He was a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1986 – 1989 and was a member of the American Legion Honor Guard, as a past Vice Commander. He loved his 1st Special Forces – 1st Group Airborne. Mr. Nicholson was a Maintenance Planner for Decatur Energy Center – Captial Power, prior to his passing.
He was the best husband in the whole world, and a loving father and an amazing grandfather.
