Mark A. Gipson, age 68, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at his residence in Murfreesboro. He was born in Winchester, Tennessee, on January 3, 1956, to the late Robert and Tressie Perry Gipson. Mark attended Lakewood Baptist Church. In the earlier part of his life, he worked as a machinist and ended his career working as a contractor. He was passionate about his family and especially cherished spending time with his nieces and nephews that he loved so dearly. Mark enjoyed watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke. He was a Tennessee Titans Football fan. Mark was a caring and loving person, who would help anyone he could. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bailey Gipson. He is survived by his two brothers, Joe Gipson (Donna) and Mike Gipson (Karen); sister- in- law, Helen Gipson; nieces and nephews, Jaimie Raymond, Amanda Gipson, Anthony Gipson (Eva), Josh Gipson (Ambrea), Robbie Gipson (Brooke); great nieces and nephews, Finn Raymond, Brody Raymond, Rose Raymond, Kezley Gipson, and Chace Gipson; and extended family. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow in the Roy B. Watson Chapel of Watson Funeral Home.
