Marjorie Warren Shelton, 98, was born in Moulton to the late Howard Pope and Mattie Lee McKelvy Warren on November 9, 1915. She died peacefully at home with her loving daughter by her side on December 23, 2013. She lived in Moulton all of her life until moving to Hendersonville, Tenn., in February 2005 to live with her daughter. She was a member of Moulton Church of Christ. She most loved spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Gwyn Shelton; three sisters, Eloise Warren Muntz, Elsie Warren Mitchell and Bettye Warren Johnson; nephew, Howard Smith; and daughter-in-law, Nancy Woodard Shelton.
She is survived by her son, Billy Warren Shelton of Moulton; her daughter, Carolyn Shelton Crisler of Hendersonville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Michael Windell Crisler (Darla), Roger Warren Shelton (Amy) and Gwendolyn Shelton Slife (Jim); and nine great-grandchildren, David Michael Crisler, Hannah Elizabeth Crisler, Victoria Anne Crisler, William Warren Shelton, Caitlin Shelton, Sarah Slife, John Slife, Paul Slife and Rebecca Slife; and five nieces and nephews, Betty Johnson Hester, Timothy Johnson, Suzanne Muntz Deal, Jerry Edward Muntz and Patrick Warren Muntz.
