Marjorie Lyons Wheeler – Obituary

Marjorie Lyons Wheeler, 81, died Monday, December 30, 2013, at the Courtyards Community Living Center. She was born May 26, 1932, in Kentucky to Hezzie E. and Nellie Williamson Lyons. A homemaker, she loved antiques and was a fixture at all the area flea markets and auctions for over 30 years.

Services will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Ministers Russ Crosswhite and Ryan Ary officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Charles H. Wheeler, whom she married December 21, 1952; one son, Jaime Wheeler (Christy) both of Fulton; two daughters, Cathy Wheeler of Fulton and Debbie Gann (Phil) of Plantersville; two brothers, Bill Lyons (Peggy) of New Albany and Durby Lyons (Margaret) of Franklin, TN; two sisters, Ida Sue Lowery (Boone) of Belle Rive, IL, and Paula Patrick (Raymond) of Southaven; and three grandchildren, Jason Gann, Drew Wheeler, and Matthew Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Nancy Davis and Mary Banks.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Tuesday, December 31, at the funeral home.
