Marjorie Inez Bain Lewis, 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her home in Ardmore, Alabama.
Born on Friday, March 10,1944, in Fayetteville, Tennessee to the late Herbert Bain and Annie Bee Davis, Marjorie lived the majority of her life in Ardmore, Alabama. She was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, tending to her flowers, and spending time with her beloved dog, Jackson.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lewis, both parents, as well as one brother, Herbert Bain Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Lewis, one son, Ricky (Toni Carol) Lewis, 5 grandchildren: Rachel (Wesley) Guthrie, Stephanie (Blake) Johnson, Derrick (Cassie) Lewis, Trenton Lewis, Mallorie Lewis, and 2 great-grandchildren, Nolan Johnson and Rhett Johnson.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 12:00 PM (NOON) until 2:00 PM., with a Chapel Service following at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Stateline Cemetery. Bro. Ed Keith will be officiating the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
