Mariquita Aguon Tainatongo, 83, born in Agana, Guam, returned home to her heavenly father on August 05, 2024.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Mary Jane and Edwin Rodriguez, Vincent and Lourdes Tainatongo, Yenning and Jason Kennedy, Michael Tainatongo, Leliani and Ben-Aaron Downing, Rocky and Brandi Tainatongo; raised, Joaquin Aguon, Patricia Simms; Vicente & Sirena Tainatongo Downing; along with many grandchildren, great-grands, and great-great-grandchildren.
Mariquita was a loving, dedicated, and strong person when it comes to her family. Mom loved gardening, crochet projects, and believe it or not, “white glove cleaning”. We will miss mom’s famous bread that everyone loves. Mom is now celebrating eternal life with her husband of 53 years, Sgt. Major Vicente B. Tainatongo. We love you mom, until we meet again.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, from 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of the Universe church. Rosary will begin at 11:30 A.M., and the service will follow at 12:00 P.M. The burial will take place at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
