Marion Junior (Mack) Massengill was born May 10, 1932 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Francis (F.M.) Marion and Roxie A. Tillman Massengill.
Mr. Massengill served honorably in the United States Army. In 1954, he attended Molars Barber College in Memphis, TN. He was a barber for 54 years serving neighbors and friends in Memphis for 20 years, in Senatobia for 12 years and in Adamsville, TN for 22 years. He enjoyed fishing, watching football games in his younger years and spending time with his family.
Mr. Massengill departed this life on August 5, 2015 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 2 Months, 26 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Gina Susan Woodard of Jackson, TN; a sister, Jerrie Sue Massengill of Senatobia, MS; a brother, Jimmy David Massengill and wife Fay of Middleton, TN; four grandchildren, Amanda Faith Davis, Lee Massengill, Daniel Brewer, Clint Brewer; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Massengill was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Beck Massengill; a daughter, Mary June (Massengill) Brewer.
