Marion E. McGuire Fowler, aged 80, died of pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, June 25th, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born on April 12th, 1944, in New London, Connecticut, to Paul R. McGuire and Edith A. Herdt McGuire.
She was preceded by her parents, and husband Dennis Fowler, and dear friend, Hansel Peak. Survivors include her sisters, Barbara M. Nelligan (Frank), Dottie White (Wayne), and Edie Terry (Lin); step-daughters Denise Cox (Anthony) and Lisa Davis (Dave); step-grandsons Alex, JR, Wesley, and Collian; nieces and nephews Paula, Gene, Ann, Kathleen, Mary Beth, Michael, Lisa, and Marie; and many beloved great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fowler will be Sunday, June 30th, 2024, at 2:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Doug Fields officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-1:45pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alex Cox, JR Davis, Collian Davis, Wesley Davis, Michael Amerson, Jacob Darrell, and Zach Kennedy.
Mrs. Fowler was a special lady. She enjoyed painting, playing the piano, eating out, and especially being with her family. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
