Marinda Patricia Simmons, age 69, of Springfield, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at NHC Springfield. There are no services scheduled at this time. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Ohio.
Ms. Simmons was born October 25, 1954 in Nashville, TN to the late Henry Harrison Simmons and Gladys Lorraine Phifer Simmons. She was a Godly Christian woman, and loved to read the Bible and pray. Ms. Simmons had done clerical work in the insurance industry most of her life.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Simmons was preceded in death by a brother, Conrad Simmons.
She is survived by a sister, Dianne (Dennis) Brady; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family.
