A memorial service for Marilyn Sue Valazquez, 63, will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at McPeters Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour before the service.
Marilyn died on January 31, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born on December 14, 1957 in Michigan to Hubert Laney Sr., and Helen Marie Laney .
She is survived by her significant other, Mario Hernandez; children, William George Martin III (Brandy) and Sylvia Martin; grandchildren, Zachairia Martin, Hannah Martin, Bradley Kerr, Jonathan Kerr, Joshua Kerr and Jasper Martin; father, Hubert Laney Sr.; sisters, Susan White (Jeff), Golda Roach (Steve), and Patty Gogans.
She was preceded in death by her mother, sister and brother, Hubert Laney, Jr.
