Mrs. Taylor was born September 15, 1930 in Lauderdale County to Luther Page and Irene Cox Page. Her parents precede her in death as well as her husband, Malcolm Taylor and her son, Mike Taylor.
Mrs. Taylor was a simple lady who enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved gardening and sewing. She and her husband operated Taylor and Son Grocery in Elkmont for 13 years, and she loved the people of Elkmont.
Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Davis and husband Larry of Cullman; Georgie Bailey and husband, Phillip of Athens; one sister, Elaine Tatum of Elizabethton, TN; two grandchildren, Charmel Evans and husband J.W.; Trinity Davis and wife Abby; two great-grandchildren Winston and Vivian Davis.
Survivors also include several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Antioch Cemetery Monday, January 8th at 11 a.m. with Brother Richard Garlen officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Larry Davis, Trinity Davis, Phillip Bailey, J.W. Evans, John Davidson, Doug Elliot and Harold Elliott.
