Marilyn M. Tidwell, age 81, of Decatur passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family.
She was born June 28, 1942 to Emil E. Framke and Wilma Valencour Framke in Oak Brook, Illinois.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles Ayers.
She is survived by her son, Duane Ayers, daughter, Tracye Kirby (Doug), five grandchildren, Emilee Jermyn (Nathan), Neely Kirby (Ashley), C.J. Ayers, Deserae Ray, Sunny Lawrence, three great grandchildren, Dawson, Walker, and Josh.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Decatur, Alabama.
