Marilyn Lynn Wilbur, age 57, of Russellville, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 with her daughter Amber by her side, at the Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Sunday, May 5th in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cross Plains with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 11am until time of the service at 1pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wilbur was born July 12, 1966, in Tucson, AZ to the late Oliver C. Walker and Winifred Irene Kirkpatrick Walker. She was a cook at convenience stores most of her life.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilbur was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lewis Wilbur; and a sister, Lorraine Peltier.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Louis Wilbur, Jr., Wendall Lee (Stacy) Wilbur, Kurt Lance (Katrina) Wilbur, and Christopher Ladd Wilbur; daughters, Amber Lynn (Clarence) Wilbur, Crystal Lane Wilbur, and Michelle Lynn Hammonds; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Larry Walker, Martin Walker, and Doug Walker; sisters, Vicky Hester and Becky Mankel; and a special extended daughter, Amanda Hulsey.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
