Marilyn Launa Allen, 83, of Owens Cross Roads passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was a retired retail clerk for Martin’s Department Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry B. Allen; brother, Allen Fite Jr.; sisters, Faye Mann and Juanita Fite; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Fite.
Funeral services will Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Hamaker officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony Worley of Huntsville and Richard Parvin of Florence; four daughters, Sherry Kenney of Georgia, Donna Ferguson of Owens Cross Roads, Teresa Carlson of Virginia and Deirdra Fowler of Union Grove; two sisters, Ruth Pickens of Nashville, Tenn., and Gwen Frazier of Virginia. She is also survived by two stepsons and one stepdaughter; special friend, Judy Sims of Decatur; several nieces and nephews, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
