Marilyn Jane “Janie” Etheridge, age 75 of Winchester, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Friday, June 18, 2021 at St Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro. She was born on July 4, 1945 in Harvey, Illinois to the late William Revel and Ruth (Sims) Hinshaw. A dedicated homemaker, she cherished the time she spent with her beloved family and friends. In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Etheridge; and brother, Horace Stephens Jr. She is survived by her loving children, Anthony “Tony” (Dana) Etheridge of Winchester, Tracie (Billy) Schiller of McDonough, Georgia, and Tonya (Bill) Hamilton of Highland, Indiana; brother, Gary (Joyce) Hinshaw of Estill Fork, Alabama; grandchildren, Kassi Schiller, Andrew Schiller, Vanessa (Jonathan) Fandrich, Whitney (Justin) Mosley, Jacob (Kristen) Floyd, Revel Etheridge, and Emma Hamilton; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 21, 2021 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro.
