Marie Virginia Baltzer Wells, age 89 went to be with Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Ridgewood Health Services.
She was born on October 13, 1935 in Wetumpka, AL. She was a resident of Jasper, AL for 28 years and was a member of Farmstead Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Bro. Bill Martin will officiate.
Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by her Husband of 59 years-Jack Linx Wells; Parents-Charles L. Baltzer, Johnnie H. Minshew and Stepfather-Ralph Minshew; Sister-Charlotte Baltzer Harding.
She is survived by her Sister-Johnnie J. Hollis; Daughters-Jackie Glover (Bruce) of Jasper, J. Carol Monroe of Springhill, FL and Joy D. Sherman (Tony) of Jasper; Son-Timothy Wells of Dora; Grandchildren-Rachel Gonzalez (Brent), Rhonda Griffin (Eric), Alicia Key (Jason), Rebekah Monroe, Jack Sherman, Andrea Nick (Anthony), Scott Sherman (Erica), Christopher Sherman and Karley Sherman; 11 Great Grandchildren; a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
