Mrs. Marie Q. Whitman, age 66 of Anniston, passed away on September 9, 2024, at home surrounded by loved ones.
Mrs. Whitman is survived by her son, Ronald E. Hughes; daughter, Kayla (Brandon) Maye; grandsons, Thomas Linn and Joseph Maye; sisters, Marlene Calfee (Tom), Betty Barker (Bobby), and Wanda Stephens; and brother, Scooter Quick. She also leaves behind nieces, Dana Woodrow and Leigha Dickerson; nephew, Danny Woods; and several more nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Whitman was preceded in death by her mother, Sadie Quick Adams; step-father, James “Red” Adams; father, Henry Quick; brother, Sonny Quick; and her husband, James “Ronnie” Whitman.
Marie was loved by her family and all that knew her or came into contact with her and will be greatly missed.
