A memorial service to celebrate the life of Marie Culver, 79, was held at 1:00 pm Monday at McPeters Funeral Home. Bro. Tommy Callahan officiated the service.
Marie passed away on November 11, 2022 at her residence. She was born on June 23, 1943 in Caldwell, Idaho to the late Walter and Florence Tucker Lambert. She was the owner and operator of Culver’s Grocery; where she met many friends that were eager to see her on a daily basis. She loved being on her farm, riding her best companion, Prissy around on the four-wheeler and checking on her cows. She especially enjoyed traveling with her sister out west.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Culver, Sr.; and a sister, Wilma Thrasher.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Culver and Kelly Bobo (Anthony); grandchildren, Brittanie Rogers, Lauren Bobo Glissen (Eli) and Aiden Jacob Bobo; brothers, Hershel Lambert (Glenda), Vernon Lambert (Jodi), Roger Lambert and Phillip Lambert; sister, Doris Zamani (Dory); step-daughters, Sandra Johnson (Billy) and Doris Strickland (Jim); step-sons, Hubert Culver, Jr. (Kathy) and Lanny Culver (Dana); step-granddaughter, Traci Underwood; step-great-grandchildren, Logan and Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
