Marie C. Wright, 95, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center – Iuka. She loved flowers, and gardening was one of her favorite things to do. Mrs. Marie also loved the Lord. She was a woman of faith and attended Jackson Camp Baptist Church. Mrs. Marie leaves behind her son, Jerry Wright; her daughter-in-law, Glenna Wright; her three grandchildren, Keith, Jeff, and Jamie Wright; her five great-grandchildren, Savannah, Hunter, Avery, Kaylee, and Nicholas Wright; her one great-great-grandchild, Jaxen Wright; her brother-in-law, Gene Waldrup; her niece, Tamma; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Wright; her son, Larry Wright; her parents, Elton and Mary Emer Nichols; and her sister, Della Van. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Tim Ryan. Burial will follow in Burgess Creek Cemetery.
