Marie Annette Avans, 87 of Stevenson, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Marie is survived by her Son, Clois Ray Avans, Daughter, Karen Lee Phillips (Danny Lebron), Grandchildren, Renne Hambrick, Katelyn Steele, Amanda Nicole Pilgram, Summer Leane Avans, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild, and a host of Nieces & Nephews.
Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Green Avans, Parents, John Holt Knott and Ruth Chance, Son, Johnny Green Avans Jr., Thomas James Wilson, Grandson, Clois Ray Avans Jr. Daughter, Carol Avans, Brothers, James Knott, Flavel Knott, Sisters, Quilla Moore, Mary Ruth, Johnny Akins.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 4-8 PM at Rudder Funeral Home Stevenson.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, in the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 12:00 PM Noon.
Interment will follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
