Maridon Eloise Davis, 84, of Florence, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015, at Glenwood Center. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday at Elkins Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Charles Kretzer officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.
Born on Aug. 14, 1930, to the late Willie J. and Cora Lee Thigpen, Eloise was a member of the East Wood Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sister, Mary E. “Tillie” Sandlin; brothers, Cecil and Willie Thigpen; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Ellis Davis, sister, Edna Pollard, and brothers, J.R. Thigpen and James Elmer Thigpen.
Pallbearers will be James Hall, Charles Owens, Mark Sandlin, David Sandlin, and Charles Huggins.
