Marian Leigh Webb, 61, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1956, to Ralph and Ella Wayne Parker Cayson. She was a life long resident of Auburn Community and was a 1974 graduate of Mooreville High School. Marian married Fred Webb on April 23, 1976. She worked at The McDuggal Center for several years and was also an inventory clerk for the Lee County Board of Supervisors through the road department for 13 years. Marian had an interest in antiques and absolutely loved spending time with her family which included her two chocolate labs, Lucylou and Maxus. She was the most selfless, compassionate person and was well loved by all who met her.
Survivors include husband, Fred Webb; one daughter, Layla Webb of Auburn; two sons, Rev. Jason Webb (Jessica) of Baldwyn, Austin T. Webb of Auburn; one sister, Donna Ratliff (Stanley) of the Ratliff Community; two brothers, Barney Cayson of Trenton, Tennessee, Mark Cayson (Christy) of Auburn and two grandchildren, Eva Kate and Easton Webb.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Fred “Freddie” Webb, Jr.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Jefferson Street Chapel with Rev. David Singleton officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery.
