Marguerite Edwards Dale, 102, of Hanceville, passed away peacefully into the glory of the Lord April 21, 2021, at Cullman Regional Medical Center, with family at her side. She was born November 6, 1918, the second child and first daughter to Rufus and Annie Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Dale; brothers, Earl and R.T. and sister, Mildred.

She is survived by brothers, Paul and Alvin (Dell); and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Family meant everything to her. She knew everyone’s birthdays, husbands/wives, and new generations of children. She was our greatest expert.

She lived in Coldwater, worked at Anniston Army Depot for 45 years and was a faithful member of Coldwater Baptist Church. She later returned “home” and re-joined her childhood church, Garden City First Baptist.

Marguerite’s family extends heartfelt ‘Thanks’ to her caregivers at Monarch Place, CRMC, and Dr. Mark Addison.

Visitation will be 12 Noon, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Hanceville Funeral Home with the funeral beginning at 2PM and burial following the service at Hopewell Cemetery.
