Marguerite Burton, 63, beloved wife of Ken Burton and mother of Rebecca Nelson, Annell Bristow and Pastor Eric Burton of the Sycamore Church in Tupelo died unexpectedly on Monday, June 27, 2022 while undergoing surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Ken and Marguerite were the owners of Community Medical Supply in Tupelo and active participants in the work and ministry of Tupelo Children’s Mansion, New Beginnings Adoption Agency, and many spiritual commitments including the Sycamore Church, among others. Please lift this great family up in your prayers in the coming days.
A service celebrating Marguerite’s life will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Life of Tupelo (First United Pentecostal Church) at 900 South Thomas St., Tupelo, MS 38801. Visitation will be from 5PM-7PM on Friday, July 9, 2022 at Life of Tupelo and from 10 AM-service time on Saturday.
