Margrette Brown Keller, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, January 26, 2024, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a retired seamstress, and of the Christian Faith. She also enjoyed fishing, working in her flower garden, and watching NASCAR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Calvin and Rose Etta Prentice Brown; her first husband, Odas Harris; her second husband, John Keller; five brothers, Howard Brown, Earl Brown, John Brown, James Brown, and Ray Brown; and three sisters, Frances Brown, Ella Brown Jackson, and Betty Moore Brown.
She is survived by two daughters, Dianna Harris of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Priscilla Kay Boyd (Dean) of Ethridge, TN; four sons, John Calvin Harris (Gaye), Richard M. Harris (Janice), Brian Keith Harris (Wanda), and Warren “Benny” Harris (Jenefer), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Peggy Shands of Lawrenceburg, TN; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2024, with Timothy Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Shelter, Inc., or you may donate a tree in her memory.
