Margrette Alene Denton, age 85, of Florence, AL, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016.Visitation will be Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Graveside service will be at Mynot Cemetery in Cherokee at 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow.
Ms. Denton was preceded in death by parents, Carroll Denton and Ruth Denton; brothers, Paul, John C, Raymond and Leon Denton; nephew, Paul Denton, Jr.; niece, Rosemary Wise.
Survivors are sister, Marie Guinn; nephews, Cecil Ray Denton (Jane), Ivan Denton (Carol), Matthew Denton (Sandra), Jack Denton, David Denton, Tony Denton (Susan), Tim Guinn; nieces, Carolyn Schmidt (Carl), Denise Denton, Lisa Murphy (Bill), Debra Carter; sister-in-laws, Delores Denton, Claris Siegal; several great nieces and nephews.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
