Margot Anne Sikes, 56, passed away on March 16, 2025, in Ardmore, Alabama.
Born on July 9, 1968, in Mobile, Alabama, Margot was the beloved daughter of Onnie Ruth Sikes and Horace Sikes Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brothers, Marc Kidney and Norman Williams, and her sister, Becky Burt.
Margot’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kayla: her son-in-love, Jonathan: and her cherished granddaughters, Kayla Nicole, Lexie Faith, and Madilynn Klarie.
Her faith was a guiding force throughout her life. Psalm 23 held a special meaning for Margot: *The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close bedside me.”*
According to her wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes spread at a later date by her daughter, son-in-love, and granddaughters.
Margot’s memory will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
