Margie Wilson Bridges, born October 19, 1943, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 4th 2019. Mother was the heart of our family and was devoted to encouraging, lifting up, and enjoying each precious one. Her family includes her husband, three children, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one great-grandchild on the way.
Survived by loving husband Gary of 56 years, Bowling Green, Kentucky; her son, Stephen Bridges of Brentwood, Tennessee, his wife, Lori Sutton Bridges and their three children, Spencer Bridges of Brentwood, Tennessee, wife, Allison Rogers Bridges and Baby Bridges on the way; Kate Bridges Dove of Memphis, Tennessee, husband, Austin and daughter, Margaret; Heath Bridges. Her daughter, Allison Bridges Pitsinos of Huntsville, husband, John and their three children, Zoe, Max and Luke. Her daughter, Julie Bridges Hamilton of Hermitage, Tennessee, husband, Brian and their three children, Ansley, Brycen and Olivia. Her brother, Hal Wilson of Hartselle and his wife, Mary Wilson and special friend, Marla Flannery. Preceded in death by her parents, T.B. Wilson and Lorene Morris Wilson and her infant brothers, Thomas Daniel Wilson and Steven Morris Wilson.
Visitation is 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019 at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
