Margie Lean Godsey Berry, age 91, Haleyville, AL. passed away Thursday August 15, 2024. She was retired from Whitt’s Hallmark Store and a member of First Baptist Church in Haleyville, AL.
Visitation will be Saturday August 17, 2024 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Jason Thorn officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers, Butch Butler, Bo Culver, Mark Finley, Bryan Hood, Mark Patton and John Tedder; Honorary Pallbearers, Hollis Miles and Ken Sunseri.
She is survived by her children, Keith (Cathi) Berry of Birmingham, AL. and Reeta (Bryan) Hood of Haleyville, AL.; brothers, James (Linda) Godsey of Rogersville, AL., Charles (Terri) Godsey of Birmingham, AL. and Don (Marilyn) Godsey of Winfield, AL.; sister, Sharon Breatherick of Rigeland, Miss.; granddaughter, LaShae Berry; grandsons, Matthew (Sarah) Hood and Connor (Rachel) Hood; great grandchildren, Rollins Kirk, Ryker Dodd, Braxton Hood and Piper Hood; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Booker and Dena Jackson Godsey; sister, Willie Lou Finch; a infant brother and sister; husband, Guy Berry.
