Margie L. Ginn, 71, died Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 5, 1947 in Attalla, AL to Davis O. Rhoades and Willie B. Farris Rhoades. She was owner and operator of Margie’s Cafe in Red Bay, AL and attended Old Union Baptist Church, Belmont, MS.
Services will be Wednesday, January 2, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Jerry Ginn officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are her husband – Harold O. Ginn; four children – Daryl Chambers (Tracy), Theresa Jenkins (Michael), Connie Keel (Edwin) and Danny H. Ginn; her mother – Willie B. Rhoades; grandchildren – Laura Thorne (Andrew), Stephanie Johnson (Shane), Maycee Chambers, Madison Pearson, Morgan Poole (Dustin), Sean Michael Keel, Mya Keel and Kalee Ginn; three great-grandchildren – Kaitlyn Garrison, Ashley Funderburk and Maddix Poole; two sisters – Joyce Mason (Rodney) and Brenda Reno (Donnie) and four brothers – Davis O. Rhoades, Jr., Gary Ray Rhoades, Ronald Rhoades and Ronnie Rhoades (Pam).
She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, Judy Colburn and one brother, Hughie Rhoades.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Thorne, Harmon Ginn, Mason Holt, Shane Johnson, Reed Holt and Dustin Poole.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
