Margie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She was a member of O’Neal Church of Christ. She worked tirelessly to care for her family while also holding a full-time job outside the home for approximately 30 years. She taught her children to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. She was a skilled seamstress who often sewed her and her children’s clothes. She enjoyed poetry during her school years and much later in life could still recite her favorite poems. She was a talented artist, she loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. Margie also loved animals but particularly cats. In her last years, she loved watching birds, especially cardinals, bluebirds and hummingbirds. She also enjoyed listening to music and her favorite movie was most likely “The Sound of Music.”

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of North Alabama and a very special thank you to Nurse Julie for all of your concern and care for our precious Mother and her family, during her final days.
