Margie Ann Fry, age 84 of Jackson, peacefully passed away on April 5, 2022.

She was born on March 11, 1938, in Jackson, TN to the late Wallace and Mazie Simpson Stegall. She was employed for 31 years as a secretary for the Circuit Court Judge in Jackson, TN. Margie will be remembered as a selfless woman and a mother who always had a smile even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength and a calm spirit. Her devotion as a wife and mother did not surpass the love and devotion she had for her granddaughter and her great grandchildren. She loved the Bemis days reunion and loved vacationing in Hawaii with her late husband Charlie Fry.

She is survived by her son, Jim Young (Jennifer) of Jackson, TN; one brother, Jimmy Stegall (Cathy) of Morris Chapel, TN; one granddaughter, Brianna Smith (Andrew) of Jackson, TN; three great-grandchildren, Zander Smith, Lincoln Smith and Mazie Smith of Jackson, TN; two step-grandchildren Shelby Haley (Kendall), Shea Wilson (Dalton) and two step-great-grandchildren Harper Haley and Beckett Haley.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday evening, April 7, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
