Margie Adams Tyree, age 97, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Friday, October 25th, 2024, at NHC Lewisburg.
She was born April 7th, 1927, in the Diana Community of Giles County, Tennessee, to the late Henry and Minnie Davis Adams. She was a retired veterinary assistant for Dr. James Jones Sr. from 1949 until 1970, and was an antique dealer at the Nashville Flea Market from 1972 until 1997. She was a lifelong member of the Hardin Chapel Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Lewis Tyree, a sister, Marie Humphrey, six brothers, Thomas Adams, Raymond Adams, Harold Adams, Vernon Adams, Billy Wayne Adams, and Roy Adams, two half brothers, David Adams, and Wade Adams, and one half sister, Betty Grace Rooker.
She is survived by two sons, Danny (Melissa) Tyree of Belfast, and Dwight (Sharon) Tyree of the Possum Trot Community, half brother, William L. “Rick” Adams of Murfreesboro, grandson, Gideon Tyree, step granddaughter, Heather Adams, two step great granddaughters.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm and will continue on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, until the funeral hour.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg, Tennessee, with burial to follow.
