Margarito Degante Ascencio age 81 of Athens, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born January 13, 1936 in Mexico to Eliseo Ascencio and Oliva Degante.
Services will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Father Javier officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Mexico.
Survived by two sons, Margarito Ascencio, Jr. and Pedro Ascencio; five daughters, Maria Romero, Jayuelina Ascencio, Marcela Ascencio, Odila Ascencio and Matiana Bernardino; 23 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
