Margaret Vaudean “Dean” Crumbley

Margaret Vaudean “Dean” Crumbley, 83, of Cullman, passed away on Monday morning, May 9, 2022. Dean was born to Gilbert Lee and Lola Irene Bice Barnett on May 30, 1938, in Cullman County, Alabama.

Mrs. Crumbley was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and she adored children. Dean loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews, and she will be missed greatly by her family.

Dean is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Ray Crumbley; brothers, Joe Barnett, Alton Barnett, Herbert Barnett; sisters, Ann Barnett, Sandra Barnett, Juaena Rains, and Kaye Barnett.

Mrs. Crumbley is survived by her brother, Randy Barnett, and his wife Charlotte, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Dean will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Duck River Cemetery, with Bro. Austin Rowell officiating.  Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the church, from 1 p.m., until services begin at 2 p.m.  Jason Barnett, Damon Barnett, Weston Barnett, Parker Kelsoe, Blake Rowell, and Dalton Bryan will serve as pallbearers for Mrs. Crumbley.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Comfort Care Hospice for the exceptional care given to Dean in her final days.
